As senior vice president, she leads all of MQO’s projects for clients at regional, national and international levels, while continually striving for innovation in data collection and analysis.
Carolyn has an outstanding academic background, starting with a commerce co-operative degree with honours and a marketing concentration from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN). She also studied international marketing at the MUN campus in Harlow, England, and at the University of Stirling, Scotland. Additionally, Carolyn has completed coursework in research methodologies and questionnaire design with Statistics Canada, customer satisfaction and retention research, qualitative research, research ethics and brand equity research with the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association, training in focus group moderation at the RIVA Institute in Washington, D.C., and advanced training at the Burke Institute. Carolyn was also recently awarded the certified marketing research professional designation – a distinguished standing that recognizes exceptional industry merit – by the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA).
